1880 - Welsh Ham


1880 - Welsh 'Ham' is made from Pembrokeshire Mutton, dry-cured in salt and spices, smoked over English Oak and air-dried to develop a full-flavoured ham. Each ham is cooked to perfection and sliced when cool to produce a beautifully moist and deliciously soft textured ham that melts in the mouth.

Why do we call our Welsh 'Ham' 1880? Our 1880 - Welsh 'Ham' has it's origins dating back to the 17th Century (1880 to be precise) when Welsh 'Ham' was traditionally made from Lamb or Mutton. 

Available as sliced packs (70g).

Nitrate FREE.

Ingredients:

Lamb (Mutton|) (145g of Lamb to make 100g of finished product), Sea Salt, Curing Salts (nitrite), Brown Sugar and Spices.

Allergen advice: Free-from all known allergens.

Storage:
Store in the fridge. Once opened, consume within 2-3 days.

Do not exceed the use by date.

Serving Suggestions:

This is a Ready-to-Eat ham. Great on sandwiches, in salads or eaten as part of a charcuterie board with cheese and olives.
